I would think that a greater feed rate would require more air and a lower feed rate less, so it seems like something is controlling the amount of air directed at the fire. Shouldn't the feed rate start the slow down when it reaches the thermostat's temperature? Example: When the coal stove is getting up to temperature, the feed rate goes up to 99 and it does not turn itself down. I have to go into the settings and manually turn the max rate way down to get it to slow down.
