I came across this after making my own experimental batch of conductive "paint" using graphite powder, charcoal powder, and acrylic craft glue let down with water (small bottle from the £1 shop). (Apparently commercial recipes use acrylic or vinyl binders, and the graphite/charcoal combination is better than either on it's own).

Put 20–50 grams (0.71–1.76 oz) of graphite powder into a kitchen blender. If you don't have graphite powder, you can make some by pulverizing a few pencil leads in a pulverizer or grinder. Use a high-power kitchen blender of at least 400 watts to get the best results.
Stir 100g of powdered graphite with 50g of sodium nitrate into 2.3 liters of technical sulfuric acid. Make sure to mix the ingredients in a much-larger-than-needed leak-proof container placed in an ice-bath at zero degrees celsius, as a safety measure. The container should be at least 15 to 20 liters in volume.
