Hi. I also own one these Excalibur Flour Mills. I have a fancy one now so rarely use the Excalibur. It is fine to use it in your kitchen. (Maybe a little dusty, and noisy but it shouldn't be too bad.) Make sure the metal pan is in place so you don't have your freshly ground flour on the counter.
